<p>Sustainability is one of the most important elements of our corporate culture. This can be seen from the materials, the manufacturing processes and the energy used. After all, we are a member of the<strong> Climate Alliance</strong> Austria, the country’s largest climate protection network, for a reason.</p><h2>Our view of entrepreneurship is not to look at the profit alone.</h2><p>The company’s success and development will always be closely connected to its responsibility to society – and for the environment. After all, what good is a huge profit if you can’t bare to look at yourself in the mirror at the end of the day?<br> </p><h2>Lived sustainability in all its facets.</h2><p>For this reason, the sustainable use of our environment is a key element of our corporate culture and more than just a marketing promise:<br> </p><h2>certified environmentally friendly production.</h2><p>When it comes to our production processes, we focus on the highest possible level of environmental protection, from the selection of raw materials through to avoiding excess waste. With this in mind, we have implemented a certified environmental and energy management system in accordance with ISO 14001 and 50001 at our location in Oberwang, Austria.<br> </p><h2>High-performance products: with a view to protecting people and nature.</h2><p>We develop our products with the aim of maximising their performance. And by performance, we also mean protecting people and the environment as much as possible.<br> </p><h2>Sustainable to the end: We use recyclable raw materials.</h2><p>Most of our products are made of mineral raw materials or metal. They are therefore 100% recyclable and can be assigned to quality class U-A according to the certification by the Salzburg Institute for Construction Engineering Research (bvfs), a state-accredited test and research facility for building construction and building materials.<br> </p><h2>Clean energy for clean products.</h2><p>We believe in green energy. As an example, we use 100 % renewable energy for our BG-FILCOTEN® channels.</p>

<h2> </h2><h2>FILCOTEN for example: certified non-toxic</h2><p>This means that our innovative FILCOTEN HPC material is free of synthetic resins and solvents. So, even during production it is safe for people and nature. FILCOTEN channel bodies have been certified as organic construction material by the IBR (Institut für Baubiologie Rosenheim GmbH).</p>

<h2>Full transparency – nature deserves it.</h2><p>With our BG-FILCOTEN® products, we are following a unique path of total transparency and have subjected the system to rigorous, independent environmental analysis1). This takes the form of a Life Cycle Assessment in line with ISO 14040 & ISO 14044 as well as EN 15804 and uses recognised indicators, such as the Global Warming Potential (GWP), Cumulative Energy Expenditure (CEE) and Abiotic Resource Use (ARU).</p><p> </p><h2>We put all our cards on the table – and even let others look over our shoulder.</h2><p>To confirm our transparent data, the product Life Cycle Assessment for phases A1–A4 was subsequently verified by external experts²) in line with EN 15804.</p><p> </p>

<h2>Tongue/groove/tenon system for easy installation. </h2><p>Developing innovative products means always thinking one step ahead to offer benefits to customers down to the last detail. For example, when asking the question of how a channel can be laid even more efficiently.</p><h2>Because efficient is always better. </h2><p>Our answer: an innovative tongue/groove/tenon system for direction-independent and considerably easier and faster laying of FILCOTEN® one. The new smart sealing system* prevents water leaking between the channel bodies and guarantees easy handling.</p><h2>Innovation for greater precision:</h2><p>Wedge-shaped connectors enable precise connection of the channel elements and keep them at the correct distance for the optimal function of the sealing profile.</p>

<h2>Precise fit: </h2><p>The half-side tongue/groove/tenon system ensures that the channels are precisely aligned in a longitudinal direction when connected, without any lateral shifting. At the same time, the chamfered base offers sufficient “space” for installation concrete.</p>

<h2>Laying in any direction: </h2><p>The design of the tongue/groove/tenon system at the front sides ensures that the channels match in any direction of laying. Laying becomes easier and more efficient.</p>

<h2>Easy handling included:</h2><p>The sealing is simply inserted into the circumferential groove on the channel body. Integrated fins stop the sealing from slipping out of the groove.</p>

<h2>Fitted on both sides for outstanding sealing performance:</h2><p>When fitting a drainage channel, only one sealing profile is required per drainage joint, and is pressed into the free groove of the facing channel body thanks to the precisely fitting tongue/groove/tenon system. This ensures that the joint is tightly sealed.</p>

<p><br> </p><p>Good design always serves a specific purpose – and the purpose of a drainage channel is clear: the surface water needs to be drained as efficiently as possible.
